landowners have secured temporary planning permission for the building which means it can be used for six months over the summer before being dismantled, to be used again in the same way next year. The venue will not only be in demand for wedding receptions, but many other church-related functions. Synergy, based in Darlington, have used SynerJy Profile throughout. The front of the building is fully glazed with heat reflecting glass and the sides and back feature reinforced PVCu panels. The wooden floor sits on a solid concrete base. Although the 'Wedding Venue' is a more expensive option than a traditional marquee, as Steve points out the benefits are obvious: "It is particularly important in this location that noise levels are kept appropriate and this is much more controllable than with a marquee. We are also able to accurately control temperature - this one has air conditioning. Additional benefits are far greater security, and, very importantly, much greater protection from the weather." Synergy's answer to the humble marquee took just a week to erect, and it is estimated will take no longer than three days to clean, dismantle and store away in one 40ft container.
